The Artist’s way: By Julia Cameron

An Adventure of SElf-Discovery & empowered creativity

June 6th – August 29th, 2024

Join Spiritual Intuitive Guide, Artist and Writer, Shannon Kinney-Düh, for a summer of creative play, inspiration and relaxation.

Why “the Artist’s Way?”

Art journaling is a type of creative play that is more about the process of creating, rather than the focus on making the perfect end product.  The beauty of art journaling is that there is NO right way to do it.  It’s about exploring, experimenting, discovering and having fun.

Creating pages in an art journal allows you the opportunity to play with doodling, painting effects and other techniques that awaken your innate intuition and creativity. Some art journals have writing, quotes or affirmations, while others are purely filled with color, images and playful marks.

Art journaling is a form of self-care – it’s not only fun and inspiring, but it’s relaxing, healing and good for your soul. Taking time to play with art and expressing yourself creatively brings peace to your mind and body and helps you learn more about yourself.

Absolutely NO art or journaling experience is necessary!

It does not matter what kind of art experience you have.  This day of creative play is for beginners and for those who create everyday. We are ALL artists – regardless if you haven’t touched art supplies since kindergarten or you paint daily.

We all long to be creative and to express ourselves.

Stepping out of the stress of every day life and making space for creative play is vital to living more fully and freely.

Giving yourself the gift of exploring your creative side will leave you feeling like you just pressed the reset button.

Nurturing your creativity helps you discover more about who you are, what your true calling is and cultivates the courage it takes to listen to and follow your heart.

“The desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human soul.”

~ Dieter Uchtdorf
